run directories configuration 20 November 2019, 05:52:39 I know I have asked this, but I can't remember the answer and I can't find it by searching to forum, but where do you set up the proper /run/ directories and files in the OS. There is a system configuration file somewhere.Specifically my mariadb needs rin directories that are not being set up on reboot.
Re: run directories configuration Reply #1 – 21 November 2019, 04:52:00 /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/OK just to document this since I am sick of losing this gem of a peice of information. My problem, though, is WHY DOES pacman update keep killing my tmpfs configuration. How do I get it to stop doing that. It is a such a pain in the neck.
