Unable to log in and can't connect to internet

Hi, im kinda new into the Linux ecosystem and just got into this error.

Just made a fresh install of Artix with mate Desktop.
Everything was working well until i installed spotify through the comand:
sudo yaourt -S spotify

I tried to open the terminal but id just was loading and never pop up, so i decided to restart my computer through the menu and then the desktop environment doesn't show up

I can log into the terminal but internet doesn't seem to work, tried to ping any webpage or upgrade via sudo pacman -Syu but doesn't seem to get anything

i tried with
cat /etc/syslog-ng/syslog-ng.conf
and changed use-dns(no) to 'yes' and comment the line but doesn't seem to work

So any help would be welcomed, instead of re-installing the distro i would like to solve the problem

You shouldn't ever run any AUR helper as root. Actually yaourt is unmaintained as well I believe so you probably shouldn't use that either. I'm not sure what exactly that install did, but it probably messed up a lot of stuff.
