The real eudev lives on!

Looking into eudev I came across this discussion which I bookmarked to check back on:
https://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/slackware-14/what-is-going-to-happen-now-that-eudev-is-not-going-to-be-mantained-4175700098/page16.html
And today just recently posted I saw:
"Also, I read that a group of people has gotten together to keep eudev alive. That's fantastic. I wonder how these people meet. I would like to help out with my extremly limited knowledge but I don't know who to contact."

So checking the eudev github repo, on the front page README.md it says:

ADOPTION NOTICE (2021-09-14)

Currently eudev is in the process of being adopted by a newly formed project by Alpine, Devuan and Gentoo contributors (a-z order). Some of the below links and/or contacts may be outdated until the process is complete and all the infra set up.

As of now we are hanging on Libera.Chat:
ircs://irc.libera.chat:6697/#eudev
https://web.libera.chat/#eudev

Exciting news hey?! I was wondering what Devuan hardliners would think about using systemd udev in future...  >:(  :o
