shutdown

Hi guys,

One more topic. During shutdown I was used to see infos about services shutting down. After some update I can only see>

 deepwater login:
Broadcasting message from root@deepwater (null) ($date):
The system will power off now

Why is that? Is somebody else logged on my PC ?
Is there any way to ensure that i see shutting messages during powering down?
