Im want to use artix till the day i die

Hello human beings. Im trying to install artix but i dont know what went wrong . doing a LUKS with with lvm setup.

I dont know what choose OpenRC or RunIt. Im working toó hard and i dont have time to read, plus this pandemic depresión its not good for anyone.

Plus I want to know what apps can use foss. And later make MX Intel BIOS patch work, or use some opensourcebios .

Then I want to know and maintain the kernel and code drivers.

So this is my panorama im working with a d3L5470. i have a 500GB disk that i want to boot it with UEFI grub. And use a little msdos partición for /boot and 16GB of SWAP and the rest  I should separate homedirs from  other directores *I dont know why*. I want to make it the more secure from DTA theft and Forensic Analysis.

Then I want to use DWM or i3 u tell me. And Then wollaa! i would be. a happy guy. Using les thn 1gb RM an working fine.

Artix FDE instalation isnt very clear and i had to reference to archlinux wiki. ( I would love to contribuye).

Please send some books and tomorrow when i wake i extend this post.

Thanks and thanks for doing this posible. :-*

You seem to want to do a lot of things......maybe one step at a time would be a better option? I would recommend doing a default install using an iso from here:  https://artixlinux.org/download.php
My personal advice would be to use OpenRC init. Feel free to choose the init that you may prefer however.

Get familiar with how things work, and then you can move on from there.

A journey begins with first steps.  :)

Best regards.
We should try to be kind to everyone.....we are all fighting some sort of battle.

It seems that reading is becoming a "lost art". There is so much documentation/information available right at our fingertips now.
I personally don't find reading bothersome at all....I actually enjoy it.
I am admittedly from the "old school", and the "school" is getting "older" pretty fast these days. :)

Best regards.

indeed, i spent a nice afternoon catching up on the rsync manpage just yesterday while keeping a browser window open with some examples, and it all worked out beautifully.  imagine RTFM now and then...  :)
