Installer is now checking password strenght

it's so disappointing to see Linux claims password cannot be this or this during install.
Linux always was for people who know what they are doing. We should let them what they want with their system, it's their responsibility.
Is it now part of the installer or has this been turned on in Artix?

You're probably talking about the calameres (GUI) installer and I think it's been that way for a long time (could be wrong). If you want to do whatever you want, just use the base iso.

@OP: If you really can't do without a graphical eye-candy ISO, you can always choose one password during install and later change it.

and that's what I did. I was installing it for someone else, if Calamares has been requesting stronger password for a longer time, I would hardly know it as I use strong passwords myself and, and that is more important, I don't install that often.
