Openrc+sddm+plasma here had the same issue but it's fine now.

I'm on XFCE and sddm.
Qt apps no longer worked since updating to 5.15.4.
The current solution for me:

sudo pacman -Syuu

Thank you for this, I too was having problems with X not starting.
