wiki account request

Hello, sorry if there's a better place to post this that I missed. I'd like to have an account for the wiki if that's possible so I can fix some errors I found.

Thanks

Account is not even two weeks old, and with only two posts. It's not really surprising that your request is ignored. At best this an arbitrary request.

I think you're better off pointing out the mistakes for fixes.

Edit: I'm not a mod. I'm simply pointing out something that is obvious, but may be missed by some.

The mistakes I found are simple grammatical blunders, so to request fixing them on a forum post(s) seems rather petty to me, idk (it's not really important, mostly superficial -- feels too cumbersome to make individual requests for).

I had to request a GitLab account on Arch, and nobody minded how long I'd been using Arch or how many pull requests/posts I'd made, and the request was promptly filled.

Of course, that's Arch and not Artix so perhaps they have more moderators available and maybe there's some problem this wiki has had with malicious editors (and thus people who wish to edit need a preexisting reputation), but if that is the case, then it should be stated on the wiki's main page as I have no way to infer that from what is currently listed. Maybe I'm just bad at reading social cues, though.

Also, might be useless to note, but I've been using Arch for a little over a year (now switching to Artix due to systemd woes) and have edited Wikipedia sparsely over the course of several years:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Imnotnew
https://aur.archlinux.org/account/ilovemikael

Apologies if this is all a waste of time.

You mean well, and that is my assumption as well. I am simply saying that granting access to some rando online might be a problem from a security standpoint. This is only my assumption as this thread has been ignored by more than a week old. That or the mods missed this thread.

As for
request fixing them on a forum post(s) seems rather petty to me
From my point of view, I don't think it's petty. I've given feedback on the forum in the forum a few times myself. Such as the forum's readability, and the recent few for the improvement of the forum's current theme.

Checked on Artix's Gitlab, but couldn't find wiki site repo. Based on that and the no response on the authorization request I think the solution I've recommended is probably your best bet.

Some of your edits seem to be a bit questionable in terms of correct grammar and spelling and altering meaning themselves, so perhaps it might be better to just post what you think should be changed:
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=ICANN&diff=prev&oldid=1300226005
"while also ensuring the Internet's (smoothly) securely stable operation"
is quite unnatural phrasing compared to the original
"ensuring the Internet's stable and secure operation"
and
"neighborhood of Los Angeles"
is the correct US English spelling while
"neighbourhood of Los Angeles"
is the UK spelling, yet this is a page about a US company and talking about a US location. There is no option on that page to switch between US and UK English so the original was arguably correct.
