Black screen when entering grub after just changing themes

I have been trying some different themes, and suddenly all icons went missing, i got a crash report no panel and now when i rebooted it boots into grub, but there is just a black screen and few seconds later it goes to bios, any idea how to fix this?
Fortunately i made a timeshift backup before this, but the problem is i cant even boot into the os, maybe through the live usb, mount the root filesystem and from there somehow recover?

Best regards

I guess you'd done a system update and got caught by the Arch (+derivatives) grub fiasco. I think it's fair to call it that.

The theme issue is most likely coincidental.

Best solution IMHO. create a rEFInd boot USB and boot into your system.
Install rEFInd. uninstall grub.

Looks like Grub 2:2.06.r322.gd9b4638c5-4 was moved to the main repos.  r322-*-1 introduced the issue that hit just about every Arch based distro and users who were using UEFI.  They weren't running the required grub-install before the reboot.

You should have had messages in your CLI during -Syu that you have to run both grub-install and grub-mkconfig (both with parameters appropriate for your system configuration).

Check this - it'll get you most of the way there: https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/Troubleshooting#Help.21_There_was_an_update_and_my_system_doesn.27t_boot.21

You'll need to artix-chroot, mount your system, and run the command with the right parameters.  Arch details this at https://archlinux.org/news/grub-bootloader-upgrade-and-configuration-incompatibilities/

Fixed the probe, but another one appeared, it second monitor isn't detected, i unplugged it and replugged, set source to hdmi, xrandr shows only primary screen, there is screen tearing present, the login theme is completely changed, any idea how to fix this?
Maybe xorg problem, i entered the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d directory and just 00-keyboard.conf file is there no diaplay config file.
Should i just restore timeshift backup?
