Problems with opening System Settings' related software.

Morning fellas.

I don't know what happened but every time I launch the "System Settings" app or any application related with settings it just doesn't work.

I haven't restarted my PC because that will probably solve the issue, but is there any way to debug what is currently happening?

Update: I have restarted my PC and System Setting still doesn't work, I recently updated my system and that seems to be the explanation of why those things are now broken.

What was the actual executable file that was failing to run?
If you do not know what the executable is, the first place to check is the desktop file launching the "System Settings".
Once you know the executable, paste it in a terminal and try to run the file.
Note any error(s) and post it here if you would like additional help.

This sounds like a typical library break due to a newer version being released.
There are quite a few threads already on this.

Generally the package in question has to build against the newer version of the library or libraries.
The Artix repositories will usually have a new release correctly linked quite quickly.
So it should not take too long to get the fix if you can wait.
Or if you are in a hurry just build the package locally and install.
Now the package will work with only the time to compile/build and install the local package.

He must be using Plasma, not sure if there is any other DE which has 'System settings'.

Until he gives us more details, in case he is using Plasma, i suggest him a system update as some issues regarding kde libs were fixed recently.
