[SOLVED] upgrading linux + linux-headers breaks login(?)

hello

updating from:
linux-6.2.6.artix1-1 -> linux-6.2.11.artix1-1
linux-headers-6.2.6.artix1-1-> linux-headers-6.2.11.artix1-1
seemingly broke lightdm (assumption)

whats happening:
im using xfce + lightdm with autologin enabled
usually i would boot my pc openrc would do its thing and then i would be met with my desktop
after updating those packages im instead met with the tty login prompt
after entering my user and password xfce doesnt start
downgrading those packages fixes the issue

if anyone could tell me how i could give better information for helping fix this issue that would be appreciated

EDIT:
upon a little investigation it seems to be an issue with nvidia drivers and not lightdm

EDIT2:
theres seemingly a newer nvidia package (530.41.03-4)
current version being: 525.89.02-11
guessing thats the problem

EDIT3:
nvidia 525.89.02-11 -> 530.41.03-4
fixed the problem
