[SOLVED] extra/podofo-0.9 for extra/gimagereader-gtk [unsuported arch repo]

note: arch repositories are not supported

if you enabled arch repositories and  installed "extra/gimagereader-gtk", you will probably face following error
Code: [Select]
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
podofo-0.9: /usr/lib/libpodofo.so.0.9.8 exists in filesystem (owned by podofo)

this happens because artix "podofo" package is still at version 9 and behind arch. arch currently provide two version of this package 10 and 9.

 extra/podofo 0.10.0-3
 world/podofo 0.9.8-5.2
solution for user:
1. skip package dependency check when upgrading  "extra/gimagereader-gtk"
2. skip upgrade of "extra/gimagereader-gtk" for now
3. install both version of "podofo" from arch repositories (I don't recommend it)

ps.
If anyone is aware of better OCR package that provides an optional GUI, I am all ears.

thanks to dev team, this problem has been solved unbelievably quick

for users:

if you have used method number 1 to update "extra/gimagereader-gtk", be sure to reinstall package so you get correct dependencies.
if you face any problem with pacman key signature, just populate entire keychain manually.
