hello,
I am having problem updating artix
i am continuously getting errors

Mostly harmless, probably excluding servers from the other side of the world, will help to reduce errors, see in pacman.conf in the first lines the rankmirror line that will help to select most fast mirrors.

I'm also in Italy, so I usually restrict mirrors to those in europe  and then run ranlmirror.

Recently there are many problems, probably due to cyberattacks or bad weather that will worse connections, (my guess).

The only error that is blocking you is the signing error, try to update only "artixlinux-keyring " package (verify the name) and then rerun the whole update.

The [universe] repo still exists, although all its packages have been copied over to [galaxy]. It's not retired, yet, you'll get an official notice on our news page when it happens. We might find another use for it, for example hosting of potentially offensive or micro-aggressive packages.
