[SOLVED] lib32-nvidia-utils ahead of nvidia-dkms and nvidia-utils

Hi all. It looks like on 2023-06-27, there was an upgrade of lib32-nvidia-utils from version 530.41.03-1.1 to 535.54.03-2. Hooray!

Only issue is that now nvidia-utils and nvidia-dkms are slightly out of sync with this new version...which updated a day earlier(2023-06-26)  from 530.41.03-1 to 535.54.03-1 for both of them.

Is there any word on when nvidia-dkms and nvidia-utils will be updating to the 535.54.03-2 versions? I'm willing to wait (I tend to try and not roll back nvidia packages unless absolutely necessary) , but just wanted a general ball park as this has prevented all but linux native steam games to be available to me atm. Thanks always to the community here for everything! ☮️

nvidia-utils and lib32-nvidia-utils are both the same version: 535.54.03. The -1 vs -2 is just a pkgrel number. It doesn't have anything to do with the actual version of the software. -2 for lib32-nvidia-utils just changed one of the packages dependencies.

I see. Thanks for that clarification. I guess Steam is having some other issue then. Must be a proton thing...

Either way it's on me to figure it out at this point. Thanks as always!!
