How to properly set up Wayland with KDE in Artix? 23 November 2023, 16:44:42 I'm looking for any type of guidance on correctly installing Wayland + KDE on Nvidia graphics without breaking any major functionality. I have tried a few times now with my process being:staring off with the stable plasma + dinit ISO for conveniencetrying various partition options for sleep, no sleep and hibernationupdating existing packagesadding pipewire according to the wiki and sof-firmware for soundinstalling plasma-wayland-session and other wayland packagesadding kernel parameters for nvidia according to arch wikitrying out NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocation, drm modes, fbc, mkinitcpio updates, zen kernel, nvidia hooks, sleep settings, trying similar stuff to this...My main issue being that sleep and hibernation are broken. I would love to hear if anyone has their own process/ 'hack' to make it work or not break in the first place. I don't mind switching packages or inits. My goal is just to get working Wayland KDE on my nvidia laptop. Perhaps I'll try moving away from KDE for my next attempt. Quote Selected
