Daily-Drove for 3 years, thoughts

Hi all,

I'll start this post off rather happy with Artix Linux, it's a great project and I will continue to keep up with it! What's nice is that I still have a guaranteed use for Artix insofar as experimentation with s6-init - on things like VMs and non-main devices where I'd be backing up any work done to local network storage anyways.

I've used Artix with openRC for 3* years and stuck with it through many ups and downs (primarily ups; vast majority of the downs came from my end), and have only switched my main systems off of it purely due to pull-factors of other distros serving those devices more suitably. I greatly appreciate the project and what it's done for the usability of non-systemd init systems, plus what it's taught me about system maintenance - especially, though not limited to, in regards to working with pacman.

There is also some likelihood that I come back to it on my main computer if I get tired with the whole Gentoo/Debian dualboot thing. [Edit: likely in Gentoo/Artix configuration, where one's using openRC and the other s6 init. This would only occur once I'm comfortable with the former distro, and comfortable with the latter init]

Daily driving has been a fun ride, and an entirely tenable one (else I wouldn't have done so for near 4 years). Hoping for much success with the project for years to come. In addition, it's likely that I'll be more present in the Artix forum due to being more active with experimentation and learning of the system.
