AI is writing and selling fake / scam books and articles

You can find more about this searching online if you wanted, there are quite a few articles and reports about how artificial intelligence is being used to write bogus books which are then sold online in places like Amazon, and it's been going on for a while now.  :o

Thanks for the warning, though personally I avoid Amazon unless absolutely necessary, and try to buy books from other sources. I do appreciate that it is not only Amazon that are going to be infected with scammers though!

There's a pinned post on the Nim forum about this currently, several AI generated Nim coding how to books have been published online with apparently convincing titles and descriptions that are a mix of rewritten material and AI "hallucinations" as they are termed, where the AI has simply invented parts to fill any gaps. As there are so few genuine books on Nim the fakes were easily found, this might not be the case for other subjects.
