bug in live installation media.

latest artix-base-openrc have bug which does not sync partitions. When you create partitions using cfdisk, then run lsblk and then partitions shown are not updated unless you reboot into live environment again.

Thanks for the report. This is more likely a kernel problem, as cfdisk issues an ioctl() call on quit. Anyway, you may try blockdev --rereadpt /dev/sdX after partitioning (which pretty much calls the same ioctl IIRC, or partx -u /dev/sdX); if you get a 'device busy' error, then it's definitely the kernel.

when you fix it and release a new stable iso , i will try. honestly i deleted artix and went to openSUSE Tumbleweed which im using to write this reply as well. I have a lot of work to do and the live iso had that bug which was not a big problem for me as i rebooted live again installed. but xfce is hell alot of buggy and apps randomly stops to launch during sessions no matter what i do. i had to restart or re-login for apps to start launching again. funny is that i never changed anything and restarting or re-logging fix the issue and i had to restart like after every 10 mins. so i switched back to another distro for now.
