For me, it's like Sado-Mazochism. Some new BSDM subspecies :)

why not install arch directly ? why making things difficult for yourself? Is there something you want to prove?

This is a question for Arch Linux forum.

he did start with an apology for the frustration

then stated goals

But i want an [sic] clean artix install into a clean arch linux system.
here is where I get confused
Code: [Select]
I tried on manjaro ( installing arch kernel delete manjaro kernel ) and it worked. Bit can i do it
So they did manjaro-> arch, and they want to do artix->arch?
But artix devs put development work into going from arch-> artix, right?
I don't think anyone as done the work to go from artix-> arch, right?

so kiblaster has it right, ask arch.
But I guess no arch devs are interested.

Swapping a kernel does not equal migrating distro. I'm fairly confident I could do a clean install of Debian and then swap the kernel for a Ubuntu kernel. Am I now using Ubuntu? No.

The OP's title contradicts the posts text, as you noticed.

It was possible in the past:
https://systemd-free.artixlinux.org/migrate.php
But you'd have to adapt the concept to cater for current packages, which have changed since then:
https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/Migration
It would probably be easier to copy your home dir to a fresh install, but perhaps you want to try for the challenge, and you might learn something. Have a bootable iso handy to fix any resulting problems though, it might take more than one try and some extra tinkering to get a running system.
Certainly an Arch kernel alone will work in Artix, I've run those on multiple occasions, also numerous other compatible packages, that's easy. It gets much more complicated with core components with systemd dependencies, as a whole stack of critical packages have to be swapped in one go, and some setup work done too, repos swapped and config changed for example.
