Problems with video playback on Electron Apps

I have a pretty fresh Artix Install with dinit as my init system and everything works fine except web-based video playback i.e. when I try to watch a youtube video in my browser or a video that got sent to me via discord it starts buffering like crazy and eventually stops playing (after max. 3 seconds).
Idk if it matters but I have a AMD rx 6600xt as my GPU
Also I had an Arch Linux setup with hyprland on this same machine before and everything worked fine with that. Might it be dinit related/some system service I haven't enabled?

- What I tried so far:
- Switching to i3
- using a different DNS provider
- using a different browser
- disabling and enabling hardware acceleration
- updating my gpu drivers
- streaming youtube videos from mpv/yt-dlp which worked absolutely fine

feel free to ask questions if anything is not clear and thank you guys in advance!

I don't know about the version relation, but there is a known youtube playback issue - stops after seconds -  in chromium 133.
You might try a previous electron version from https://archive.artixlinux.org/.
