googlechomium - just on cue

Version 133.0.6943.141 (Official Build, ungoogled-chromium) Artix Linux (64-bit)

This doesn't seem to work with youtube any longer.  As to why, I have no clue.  I never know what this browser is doing.

"Just on cue" probably refers to the issue of showing only the spinning circle until it ends with "Something went wrong" or the loading of only the first 20 seconds of video?

There are several Issues over on github including a few easy workarounds that seem to solve it for some people, myself not included.

When I have the in-browser javascript console open it shows a bunch of "requestStorageAccessFor: Permission denied" *shrug*
yt-dlp and Firefox appear to work as usual.

This issue reproduces.
If you need the previous version just let us know.
Unless there are build issues, version 134.0.6998.35 should be in omniverse tomorrow. But no guarantees this bug is fixed then.

Yup - it has to be a javascript problem or something google changed with youtube.  They have slowly been tying it down.  It works with regular chromium.

On cue refers to the  thread below about firefox TOS and the suggestion to use ungoogledchome.  My problem with chromium, all of it, is I never know what the heck it is doing.
