is there a place to just download arch images. Torrerents are not working

As for Archlinux ?
Go to their website.
https://www.archlinux.org/download/

And click on some server from the long list which is ordered by countries and than select files which you want.

Example: http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/archlinux/iso/2019.10.01/
