Title: ZFS [Solved]
Post by: ndowens on 17 January 2020, 05:37:45
Has anyone been able to get ZFS working fine on Artix. I tried setting it up. I used zfs-dkms outside of chroot and of course installed it inside as well and I found it in /usr/lib/modules; but whenever I booted, system would state zfs module not found?

If anyone is interested in using ZFS on Artix, I wrote a guide: https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/InstallationOnZFS

Sorry for necroposting.

Today I'm installed artix with runit with zfs. I'm used partition already created, where I already use with Gentoo and arch. So I created only dataset for artix and I followed your guide. But this is for openrc, so when I rebooted I can't booted on artix because it didn't found zpool. Must I activate more services on runit? if yes, what? Thanks so much. Anyway I could use snapshot from arch and migrate this, if it is easier
