I found that artixlinux.org uses google-analytics, searched up forum whether this topic was previously picked up.. (sorry if it's a re)
some have taken initiatives recently, if this functionality is absolutely necessary here are few alternatives https://switching.software/replace/google-analytics/
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-analytics-opt-out/fllaojicojecljbmefodhfapmkghcbnh?hl=fr
or you can use for example ublock origin extensions and block google-analytics via this.
I suppose google-analytics binds to the template that we use and i am not sure, if template can works with another alternatives :-\
@alium I understand if it has to done with a template but my intention isn't blocking google-analytics (I have defined those in hosts file) just bringing this up there are other alternatives..
I've already installed fathom for analytics, will deploy it to replace G-A once I find some time.
@nous really appreciate the efforts, thanks for making this possible
Cheers!!
Google analytics is no more.
