Title: unzip not working by right clicking
Post by: rpallen on 07 July 2020, 02:30:18
I just installed Artix/XFCE/s6.  I tried extracting a file by right clicking it and selecting "extract here".  I got an error message something like there was no program to extract it.  I installed unzip (sudo pacman -S unzip) and tried again with the same result.  However, I was able to extract the file with unzip in the terminal (unzip file.zip) with no problem.  Why won't it work from the right-click menu?

I won't swear on it, but I think right clicking to unzip files requires you to have a graphical frontend to archivers installed (like xarchive or fileroller).

Only the community ISOs are fully equipped to work out of the box. The minimal ISOs just provide a convenient means of installation and don't always contain the full DE and its extras. @linuxer? Perhaps xarchiver needs to be added to the profile?
