Title: Building Artix live CD ISO image
Post by: xeptore on 08 October 2020, 21:40:33
Hi!
I followed Arch Wiki remote installation via SSH guide (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Install_Arch_Linux_via_SSH) which utilizes Archiso (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Archiso) to build live CD ISO image with OpenSSH service enabled on boot up (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Archiso#Prepare_an_ISO_for_an_installation_via_SSH).
Is there currently any standard way of doing the same thing on Artix?
Does Archiso work with Artix or it contains soystemD stuffs?
How can I create a live ssh-enabled ISO image so that I can install Artix remotely on a headless server?

https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/InstallationUsingBuildiso shows how to make an Artix ISO. I believe you should be able to create one and inside ISO chroot enable ssh on boot. I haven't done it to be 100% sure, but I would believe it would be easily possible. Look at the note for installing apps insides the custom iso chroot, that may give you a clue how to enable ssh on boot.
