Title: On the "system-staging" "world-staging" and "galaxy-staging" repositories
Post by: ᒤᕞᕹᓸ on 12 November 2017, 01:20:57
@nous @artix @thefallenrat

Are we getting rid of all the staging repos for good? And are they being replaced by these new "playground" and "playground-testing" ones?

Thanks, I do like to test the staging and testing repos for the good of the community. :)

I propose unstable to be called Johnny Rotten
With all this stability Artix shouldn't be confused with Debian

The playground repo is not recommended to be used by users.
This is our pipeline buildbot testing repo, it will likely contain foo packages.
Its only purpose is to test pipeline changes to not influence normal artix repos.
In other words, don't use it in pacman.conf.

Regarding staging repos, I removed them, but they will perhaps be reintroduced for 3rd party pull requests on github.
