Title: Full disk encryption using GRUB for BIOS and UEFI without LVM
Post by: unixsheikh on 10 February 2021, 18:30:52
In case anyone might find it useful, I have made a tutorial for installing Artix Linux base with full disk encryption for both BIOS or UEFI without LVM:

Real full disk encryption using GRUB on Artix Linux for BIOS and UEFI (https://www.unixsheikh.com/tutorials/real-full-disk-encryption-using-grub-on-artix-linux-for-bios-and-uefi.html)

hi again,

i'm stuck trying to install grub (for uefi), i get the following error:

Code: [Select]
grub-install: error: /boot does't look like an EFI partition.

I did some googling and pretty much all the advice i saw was to make sure the boot partition was FAT32, which it is...

i'm installing on virtualbox if that matters. do you know what the issue might be?

edit: LOL it's because virtualbox uses bios, am an idiot. i'll give this tutorial another shot when I find the time
