Failed to install Artix
Tried:
-2 USBs
-versions: runit, openRC, and S6.
-writer: gnome and etcher
The USB loads the terminal, the logo.
Each time it freezes before booting the live desktop. It asks for local host user and password. After entering those, it remains in terminal.
I'm bamboozled.
which iso you used? write full name of iso
Stable ISO images
base
artix-base-openrc-20210426-x86_64.iso
artix-base-runit-20210426-x86_64.iso
artix-base-s6-20210426-x86_64.iso
Tried with those 3 ISOs on 2 different flash drives.
I'm not that smart. And my only guess is that it's nvidia or intel up to its normal tricks messing me up.
good evening, you need to give more information on how you created the usb key and on which pc you want to install it thanks
The base ISOs are supposed to only load the terminal. If you want a graphical live session, choose a different ISO. (You should have read what is written above the download links.)
yep, you chose ISO without gui installer, that why... you can still install your system -> https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/Installation
