Title: Android phone not appearing in lsusb when connected
Post by: Aussiegothic on 29 May 2021, 05:19:40
Hi,

I've recently installed Artix Linux after moving from Arch Linux. I could physically connect to my mobile phone to tether and transfer files on Arch, however on Artix I have the same packages installed yet my phone is not appearing in lsusb or connecting at all. I have usb debugging enabled on my phone and KDE connect installed on both my phone and Artix. I have android-file-transfer, android-udev, gvfs-mtp packages installed. Is there anything I'm missing, and how do I get my phone detected on lsusb? My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S10+ and I can connect and transfer files to it in both Windows and my previous Arch Linux installation without issue.
