Title: [SOLVED] Artix Runit update Error
Post by: ImpactKaizer on 09 June 2021, 16:05:16
Hi All,

Not sure if it's the right place to post error here but I just installed Artix for a while and happy with it, I recently go an error while doing an update to my system.

Code: [Select]
installing elogind (246.10-4) breaks dependency 'systemd' required by lib32-systemd

If any more info is require I'd be happy to share.

Sometimes having a look at the last posts in forum could help.

Why do you have lib32-systemd installed? You know this distro doesn't use systemd right?  ;)

Probably, you are using arch's multilib repo (likely for wine) instead of artix's lib32 repo. You should enable lib32, reinstall your lib32 packages from artix's repo, and then remove lib32-systemd.

In this case, he should even have lib32-systemd installed in the first place. It should be removed.

I have no Idea why it pulled it.

Anyway I managed to fix the issue as you said I could've sworn it I enabled it before .
