So i just did a fresh reinstall of Artix after tinkering with Void Linux for a bit. I chose OpenRC Cinnamon this time and i'm having to log in twice. The first login shows my hostname on the top bar, but the second shows my ip. When i open my terminal the hostname is also my ip. Is this normal? Thanks for the help.
I had something like this when I tried a hostname with numbers in it, ordinary letters were OK.
