It seems like some other distros have made openrc patches for anbox and waydroid.
I know it is not as simple, but maybe somebody could look into making those available for Artix as well.
Here are all relevant anbox links I could find:

Here are all relevant waydroid links I could find:

https://pkgs.alpinelinux.org/package/edge/testing/x86_64/waydroid

I am not acustomed to Artix packaging and maintainers workflows and practices, but if this is appropriate I would be willing to offer a bounty of 100€, I know this is a laughable amount in terms of workhours, but if that is what tips somebody over the edge, I would be glad.

This Post is about Anbox
As for waydroid , you can convert systemd service into openrc service by using this website http://openrc.run/
Hi, I know I'm late for reply I just discovered waydroid lol
And it took me time to find a way to use it on artix and indeed there is a way to run it without systemd: https://docs.waydro.id/usage/install-on-desktops#manually-starting-waydroid
so thought it might help new comers!
