Hi, it's been some time.
After the discussion about AUR, pamac (https://forum.artixlinux.org/index.php/topic,3186.msg20854.html#msg20854).... and unofficial repos, I just thought to just make a fresh install that was never "tarnished" by the previously mentioned "bad guys" as I got convinced by what developers mentioned it can cause trouble.
So, I found myself stuck and can't install:
- chromium browser (whether ungoogled or just chromium)
- Zim (for wiki notes (https://zim-wiki.org/))
I couldn't even instal "pamac"

Now, what can I do to have those (and maybe others later) installed?
Should I install from source? How?
Any help highly appreciated.
Thank you.
Package zim is in Arch repository "community" (https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/Repositories), zim-git is in AUR.
ungoogled-chromium is in the "universe" repository (https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/Repositories#Universe).
There is a Guide to enable Arch repositories (https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/Repositories#Arch_repositories).

As said, package zim is in an Arch repository "community", so instead of
sudo pacman -S zim-git # <-- another package entirely
you should instead try
sudo pacman -S zim
Before that, edit your /etc/pacman.conf according to the given instructions and run the clearly stated "pacman-key" command.
I would additionally comment out the "testing" and "community-testing" repositories, as they contain packages which are not for production use.
zim done!
Thanks a lot
@strajder Will try chromium
UPDATE: Chromium installing.
Great support and a great distro as usual.
Thank you.
