Title: Nim 1.6 was released a month ago

https://nim-lang.org/blog/2021/10/19/version-160-released.html (https://nim-lang.org/blog/2021/10/19/version-160-released.html)
This is a package in "community" so is an Arch maintained package (hence the other distros, no support expected, forum location) but I was checking versions and the repo one is still 1.4, and there is nothing in testing or staging yet either. It's flagged out of date but apparently record numbers of Arch packages have been reached of flagged out of date packages recently due to several Arch maintainers retiring, although they say it's nothing to worry about. Updating to the newer nim version didn't result in anything more than a few new build warnings in pakku-git which have been fixed now anyway.

According to pkgs.org, nim is at 1.6 in Debian Sid and third-party Fedora repo only.  Others are still at 1.4 or lower:

Now even Ubuntu is more up to date than Arch, for both nim and glibc.
