Title: Blackscreen after tried to suspend/hibernate the system
Post by: Andrea Parenti on 29 December 2021, 16:12:46
Hi there!
I'm currently running a KDE plasma session on Wayland and when it's time to suspend or hibernate the system, something goes wrong: the screen become black with only the cursor in the middle and it's all frozen after a while.
I'm on Artix Linux (with openrc and kernel v. 5.15.11-zen1) and the commands I'm probably using are:
Code: [Select]
loginctl suspend
Code: [Select]
loginctl hibernate
Code: [Select]
loginctl hybrid-sleep

Obviously this issue does not occur when a x11 session is running.
P.S.: I've never tried another DE on Wayland.
P.P.S.: I've never noticed this since two days ago.

Thanks

Well if it doesn't occur on x11, it sounds like a plasma wayland bug.
