I'm an aussie, and i'm quite happy that a lot of GNU/Linux distros, and BSD forks have a package repository mirror in australia, most likely at aarnet.edu.au.  Artix should totally try to get a mirror at aarnet! It would make aussie user's updating a lot faster and a lot more stable.  Is there any way we could ask for a mirror?

Well, if aussies "weigh in" with requests, they may actually get it. Just include the following in your request (and let us know if they do it):
