I wanted to put forth the proposition to put the torrent download option
before the download mirrors on the Artix download page: https://artixlinux.org/download.php
The reason I'm bringing this up is that most users will pick the first download option when they see it, and by putting the torrent option first this will lead to:
- Less weight on the download mirrors, since now users by default are torrenting
- Much better torrent quality, since now there are more seeders
I am not the only one who has thought of this, since this is what the Arch Linux download page ( https://archlinux.org/download/ ) does by default and in my opinion they are doing the right thing.
that does sound like a very good idea and simple to implement too - I also went for the first download option, because it was there, rather than torrent download.
