Title: XFCE openRC brightness setting, suddenly not giving effect

The brightness setting, on XFCE openRC, suddenly not giving effect at all, only  responded GUI mouse click,
what package is brightness setting is in so it'll be updated ?

This likely due to the /root directory accidentally got deleted as happened next to then

Any correct idea to solve in shortest & simplest time & way?  thanks before

Why did you post again? Just modify your last post to include the lspci output.

As for your problem, see if you can set brightness using xbacklight: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Backlight#xbacklight
