I get the "Cannot connect to Fcitx by DBus, is Fcitx running?" error whenever I'm using Fcitx5 over Fcitx. I tried following the guide on https://github.com/fcitx/fcitx5/issues/178, but it only seems to work with window managers. I feel like I lack the technical knowledge to set-up Fcitx5 myself.

Nvm. I just figured out that I can get Fcitx5 working by running this in the terminal:

fcitx5 --enable all
