Title: Latest update breaks screen settings and second monitor support?
Post by: jam9 on 09 September 2022, 18:46:18
So i recently installed artix and had some problems that i fixed but when i updated recently and rebooted suddenly second monitor isn't detected, screen brightness is unavailable and other screen related settings, i though that i most probably screwed something up so i decided to reinstall the os, after doing so i updated the system installed all the programs i wanted and in that time the second monitor worked, then i rebooted and the second monitor stopped working again also all the screen related settings, i didn't uninstall any software, just updated using
Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -Syu
and that's it, so something is the problem with the update i'm guessing, any other had this problem?
I am using kde plasma.

I installed the official iso.
KDE plasma using openrc, under the stable section.
Should i try switching to other init system?
