Title: Plasma Package Issues
Post by: P4ULD3NT0N on 13 October 2022, 21:36:22
```error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
plasma-desktop: /usr/share/metainfo/org.kde.plasma.activitypager.appdata.xml exists in filesystem (owned by kdeplasma-addons)
plasma-desktop: /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.activitypager/metadata.json exists in filesystem (owned by kdeplasma-addons)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
 -> error installing repo packages
```

Tried using yay to update and kept getting these errors. Don't know if it's a repo problem or if it's just a problem on my end. Some assistance would be appreciated.

I just had the same, but a load of plasma updates got downloaded first so I'm guessing something came through that jiggered it up - however, i just tried it again and it seems to work now, for me at least.

At the moment I would opt to wait for a bit.
The KDE Gear and also KDE Plasma had a release so a lot of stuff to update and build.
