Title: glib upgrade to 2.75.0
Post by: d1nuc0m on 20 November 2022, 21:11:13
Hi, I'd like to ask when it is planned to upgrade glib in the repository to v2.75.0 (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/-/releases/2.75.0), as it closes the issue #2795 - [regression] gnome-keyring-daemon uses 100% CPU with glib-2.74.1 (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/-/issues/2795) (see also Topic: High CPU usage with glib2-2.74.1 and gnome-keyring-42.1 (https://forum.artixlinux.org/index.php/topic,4733.0.html)). It's not a big problem, as pinning glib to 2.74.0 prevents it, but now there is a patch.

The glib2 that's in the repo actually has the commit that caused that regression reverted. 2.75.0 will come whenever arch does it though.
