Title: WARNING: Configuration file format is too old, syslog-ng is running in.....
Post by: sticksix on 01 February 2023, 21:09:09
Hello all. I'm getting a warning at the end of the boot process that says:

WARNING: Configuration file format is too old, syslog-ng is running in compatibility mode. Please update it to use the syslog-ng 4.0 format at your time of convenience. To upgrade the configuration, please review the warnings about incompatible changes printed by syslog-ng, and once completed change the @version header at the top of the configuration file; config-version='3.35'

I'm using runit. I checked the version of syslog-ng and I believe it is current at 4.0.1-1. What if anything do I need to do here?
Any suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks. I actually saw this before but didn't look at it very closely. Getting too old to notice things anymore. Lol

I appreciate the help, mate.
