Title: Feature request: full support for arm
Post by: kiblaster on 06 March 2023, 20:49:54
I know that there is the ARMtix project.

Could you support arm as x86_64?
No more separate project Artix with 2 arches.

For example now it is missing the universe repo and maybe something else?
Can you add that too?

Also  can you support the PinePhone?
It has Arch Linux ARM support quote from https://wiki.pine64.org/wiki/PinePhone_Software_Releases:
Quote
(Unofficial) Arch Linux ARM with choice of Phosh UI, Plasma Mobile, sxmo or barebones. Currently being maintained by the DanctNIX community (GitHub: https://github.com/DanctNIX/danctnix, https://github.com/dreemurrs-embedded/Pine64-Arch).

It almost runs mainline kernel, it is a sunxi device.

Short answer, no. Long answer, we'd love to but we neither have the aarm64 hardware nor the time to support it, sorry.

As nous said, it can't be done now since you need aarch64 hardware to build and test ARMtix, so ARMtix stays as community-driven distro
As for Pinephone, i don't own one to test it myself but anyone is welcome to install ARMtix on any aarch64 device and send me a text file with instructions to reproduce it
