Hello,
I have been using Artix for around a year now and I like it very much. I rarely have any complaints but recently I have decided not to put up with one - I want to take it in my own hands for the good of the community.
Namely Bigly BT torrent client is not packaged neither in Arch nor in Artix repos. I would like to change that and start packaging it myself. (It is in flatpak but I find that not enough)
Could I get directions on how to become a packager?

There's an AUR package for biglybt. Generally Artix only packages what's already in Arch's official repos, with some exceptions.
BiglyBT is simply a Java application program, get the tar gz and run it with any static java package in your system (e.g. jre-openjdk). It even handles it's updates and addons by itself in it's directory, it's installation is made to be fully portable.
