Title: Cameracontrol
Post by: tokaro on 21 June 2023, 19:14:10
Hi Guys,

Some time ago I have installed this package.
cameracontrol-2.2.0-1.2-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

If i remember well i was not able make it work, but i left it on system for future.Today i returned and tought i will reinstall it.
I have synced pacman and searched it but it did not displayed anything.

So I want to ask if it was removed from repos?

Is there any alternative?

The package mentioned above i have still in cache.I tried to reinstall and run it but i get following message on the image>
The image is displayed only for a second, literally, so i am not able to press anything. To capture this picture i had to try several times.
Thank you for help.

Tom

If you have manually installed the .tar. package then there it probably wasn't in the repos to begin with. Do you have artix-archlinux-support for the arch repos?

Hi,

Well I am not sure 100 percent sure.

Might be the case, because it is in /opt.

But it is from this guy, maybe i should directly contact him

https://gitea.artixlinux.org/linuxer/camera-control-webcam-switch-indicator

Maybe somebody else knows a solution.

Thanks
