Title: Binary package URL
Post by: replabrobin on 12 July 2023, 14:23:20
I've been waiting for binary packages to appear after the change to repository layout(s).

I was visiting the repository https://repo.armtixlinux.org/ which is listed as packages at https://armtixlinux.org/

I see changes in the PKGBUILDS at https://gitlab.com/phkr/artixarm, but the binary packages are still out of date.

Is there a change in the repository URL that I've missed. Or are builds no longer being done?

I only upload packages once i've reached the point when all possible builds are done and i'm sure the percent of broken packages is low enough. At this point i haven't yet built all the possible packages, partially because sometimes cycling dependencies break my dependency resolution logic and i have to manually find out which package to build. There are also some strange build failures in some packages like erlang and julia - they will probably need new patches.
At this point i have about 200 packages left unbuilt from abou 1500 i had initially

wow, I'm just going to wait.  If there is anything I desperately needed I can download the PKGBUILD and build it myself. Cyclic dependencies would always be a problem.
Thanks for all the work.

Update landed in repos, seems to be mostly functional. Among programs i use myself (including a bunch of server software) everything except libreoffice works - this one is linked to wrong libicu, will be fixes today
