Title: Spotify GUI won't open on Artix OpenRC
Post by: y41v35 on 29 August 2023, 23:24:30
Hello, I'm using Google Translate so I hope you understand. I used Arch Linux and had a package called "Spotify-Launcher" that I used to listen to music. Now I'm using Artix Linux with OpenRC, I've enabled the Arch repositories and still, the package doesn't open. It keeps loading and won't open. I saw that in Caohtic AUR there is one that is simply called "Spotify", I installed it and the same problem occurred. I tried Spotifyd and that didn't work either. Spotify-Tui works but I don't have anything it can recognize. At the moment I use ncspot but I wanted a GUI solution because I like to read lyrics. Does being OpenRC change anything? Any packages or configuration I need to do? Thanks

Ps: I already posted this thread before but I accidentally marked it as solved.

Can you give us the terminal output for the programs you run?
