Title: [Solved] KDE Plasma support issues
Post by: sonar on 30 October 2023, 10:24:41
It doesn't seems you offer KDE as an installation ISO anymore. Since KDE is not supported anymore, should I be worried about security/updates, incompatibility with Arch repos (I assume updates for everything KDE are coming now friom Arch repos only?). I can't see any announcement.

The weekly autogenerated ISOs have literally nothing to do with what packages are supported or not. I'm not sure why you are assuming that.

But Plasma is supported (see here (https://artixlinux.org/download.php)).
KDE makes Plasma and for many people KDE = KDE Plasma

Just for my understanding, is there a reason why plasma no longer appears in the weekly isos?

My question has been resolved, I have seen that a current plasma iso has been added to the "Weekly iso images".
So this threat is now finally closed  :D
